Question I am running a snack bar at a kid's basketball league at my church. We purchase our items/foods from sysco. Do you have any ideas on what to sell besides the obvious candy/chips/sodas etc, and do you have any ideas for specials or some form of marketing that will draw more people to the snack bar?
Answer Dear Justin,
Since drawing people to your snack bar means you need to increase attendance at the games I suggest you make sure you're advertising the games/reporting on the games in church bulletins and the local newspaper. You could sell customized shirts or other things with the league logo. You also could cook pizzas or hot dogs. I don't know how many people attend games but sending vendors around with food and drinks is another thought.
