GMC Repair - 2002 GMC Envoy

Question
I have a 2002 GMC envoy. The vehicle is equipped with a electro-viscous PCM controlled clutch fan. This is way too much info that i don't understand. anyway the fan makes alot of noise, sounds as if the fan is running full throttle all the time. Is there a plug or switch that could be bad or the clutch fan itself?  Can you help me out with this fan issue???? Thanks for your time.

Answer
it is the clutch fan itself that is causing the noise, i believe you can buy the clutch itself, if not it will come with the fan shroud, which you will need to remove to access the fan, its kinda of a chore to get out, but it can be done, just bring your patience
