Subject: when the address is on a highway

Question
I have a garmin Streetpilot c330. When the address in question is on a
highway, say 413 Highway 13, how do you enter it?  It won't take highway
spelled out and it won't take hwy as an abbreviation.  I read the whole 37
page manual, and the problem isn't mentioned.

Answer
I have a 680 and still haven't figured it out.  It frustrates me to no degree.

Sometimes Interstate Highway 35 is IH-35.  Many times an address will be IH-35 South regardless which side of the highway it is on.  Many times if I try to find an intersection of two highways I can select both highways and then when I select 'Done' it tells me intersection was not found.  Pisses me off.

I just bought the 2009 map update and was sadly disappointed.  A waste of money.

I've gotten to where instead of trying to plan out a trip by entering points on the Garmin I will go to Google and find the POI and transfer it to the Garmin that way.

Good Luck!!!

Mike
