Question I know this is a stretch, but do you think circumstances may ever prevent themselves for Peter, Phil, Steve and Tony to record together again or play live?
Answer Well, Gabriel himself has said, "Never say never" in regards to a Genesis reunion, but he also said that it doesn't seem all that appealing to him to give up his own ongoing projects and freedom as a solo artists to attempt to recreate something that belongs in the past. He also hinted that doing to re-recordings of the Lamb on the Boxset with the new Carpet Crawlers just reaffirmed his belief that it's all good...but it belongs in the past. Plus you gotta remember that Prog Genesis was pretty much a niche market which wasn't that big in the past and has dwindled even further over the years.
Personally, while I know the idea of a Genesis reunion would turn a lot of people on, I fear that the result would be a bunch of unhappy fans, and the ones who most demanded a reunion would be the most disappointed in the results.
