Gambling - 3 draw 2-7 lowball

Expert: DG - 6/3/2009

Question
In a 2-7 lowball 3 draw game i recently played, i caught a low 3-7 straight and ended up losing the hand to 2,4,6,8,10. what exactly does it mean for a straight to count AGAINST your hand in this game?

Answer
Sorry for taking so long to answer

In 2-7 lowball, Aces are always high, straights count (flushes do not.) That is why the best hand is  7,5,4,3,2 and not 6,5,4,3,2.

Straights dont count against you, they are just a really lousy hand in 7-2 lowball.
