Question
QUESTION: do you know how the cards come up, are five cards set up behind each other or do they come up individually so that the first card will always be the same?

ANSWER: Hi Michael,
The cards are dealt just as they would be in a "live" poker game. In other words, one after the other off the top of the deck. Five cards are not set up behind the 1st five dealt.
Good luck

QUESTION: On multi game machines, does the game itself have any effect on the outcome? If say four A's were to come up on one game would it have come up on any other game or are they independent of each other?

Answer
Hi Michael,
Let me preface my answer to this question and to your previous question by saying that I assume you are talking about Class III gaming (Las Vegas, riverboat, Atlantic City style.)

On multi-game machines, the game you choose has no effect on outcome. (Other than your knowledge of the proper "holds" for optimum return.) Each poker hand is independent of previous games within its own game theme, as well as alternate game themes. The 52 or 53 cards are continuously shuffling in-between games.

The machine has no "intelligence" to determine what is dealt. The only thing the casino can control about payback is the actual paytable, which is available for you to see before you play. Compare paytables on identical game themes at various casinos, and choose the most favorable one.

A huge myth is that the casino can control which initial hands are dealt, and the subsequent cards after the discard. I often hear "I never get 4 of a kind anymore. The casino really tightened their machines."  A legitimate Class III casino cannot control frequency of
particular winning hands. Only the payback.

Hope this helps.
