Question
Hi
is there any working soccer betting system , my senses say no if there were people selling systems to us would have no need to sell but would beat every bookie in the world, however i continue to search for such a system but no one can prove they make profit because they show to us "big profits" when game ends not before it starts :)
so my question is can bookie edge be overcome and do you know of a system giving 1-2 % profit week after week.
thank you
Krasimir, Bulgaria

Answer
Hi Krasimir,

Thank you for your question.

I know of no profitable betting system for soccer, nor for any other sport. Your sense is correct -- people that do offer a betting system only publish their results after the fact. In addition, their wins are often due to getting more (or giving fewer) points in a match and/or getting odds that simply are not available to most bettors.

One more point to make is that when a system claims, for example "75% winning picks", it is entirely possible that they still lost money if the picks were on huge favorites. In this example, if the average odds on these picks were -300, a 75% win rate is break even.

Your best approach is to become more knowledgeable than your bookie about a given sport, and take it from there.

Best of luck!
