Question
i would like to play pan on line...can you suggest a site.
also what country did it originate and where can i get a set of rules

thank you

Answer
The only site I know of that offers Pan is Tiger Gaming
(www.tigergaming.com) I've played on it and it does have a pretty decent interface. The only problem is that you cannot sluff a card. They offer both real money and demo games and there is pretty much always games going.

Pan probably was first played in 17th century France. It is a basic rummy game. It gained popularity in 19th century New Orleans. Legend has it that it was played in the cat houses, which people think is where the terminology comes from. However bong sounds asian, yarborough sounds British, and pisser is defintely Yiddush.
