Question
I am facsinated by all things mechanical - espically slot
machines , could you provide me with information on
becoming a slot machine repair person ? in your profile
you claimed to be certified to repair slot machines.

Answer
Chris, I am a Certified Gaming Machine Repairperson (GMR). This course was put on by the College in my city over ten years ago but does not exist anymore due to an influx of slot techs in the jurisdiction. Currently, gaming venues hiring for slot technicians generally need you to have a background in electronics, plus a diploma or degree as an electronics engineer or technologist. You can see the requirements for slot techs for various jurisdictions at www.casinocareers.com.
