Game Shows - Kids Game Show

Expert: John Bergman - 7/10/2006

Question
I remember watching a kid game show back in the late 80s early 90s where siblings were partners.  I don't remember much about the show except for at the end.  The winning pair would run up and down the stage looking for prizes they think their partner would want (their partner had picked out the prize earlier).  They had to make so many matches in order to win.
Could be too vague, but thanks.

Answer
Dear Sami:

The game show you are talking about was called I'M TELLING and it was originally on NBC on saturday mornings in the mid 1980's.  The time period you saw it in were repeats of the show.  The bonus game was similiar to what you describe, but the main game of it was a variation of The Newlywed Game with the object being of how much the brother and sisters knew of each other.

I hope this helps.

JOHN
