Game Shows - UK Kids Game show

Question
There was a Children's game show on either on cbbc or citv, during the early 90's (Not sure about the late 80's), that involved the children jumping into a huge bowl of soup, fetching certain letters, for their team. They also had this metalic looking balloon/ball of paint, that started off at the top of this something, and the children had to get it too the bottom, without it bursting, or falling to the ground, by putting their hands through a hole in perspex, into a rubber glove and they'd drop it below them to another team member with their hand on another glove. They'd have options to with glove and hole to choose and I think there were only two or three in a team for this, as the team member who had just dropped the balloon/ball would have to run down to the next level, to catch the ball/balloon.

This is all I remember, and I have been searching through different forums for quite a while, and it seems that none of my friends seem to recall watching the same programme. I hope you can help, thank you for your time!

Kind regards, Captain Supernova

Answer
Hello.  I wonder if you are thinking of a show called "Incredible Games". It was broadcast between 1994-1995 (two series) by the BBC. It included a variety of games, performed by contestants between the ages of 11 and 14. The show itself was set in a fictional skyscraper, with a talking lift.

The aim of the show was to complete each game (set on a "floor" of the skyscraper), gradually rising up the tower, until finally reaching the penthouse, where prizes could be won. If a player lost a game, they were sent to the "basement" of the tower (the laundry room), and the other players had to take the lift back down to rescue them.

Two of the more famous games were the alphabet soup game, where giant letters had to fished out of swimming pool (supposedly a soupbowl) to make words on the "fridge", and the "Dark Knight game". In this game, the contestants had to move from square to square on a chess board until they reached the end. The catch was that the "dark knight" was attempting to stop them. Fortunately for the players, he could only see where they had been, not where they were.

Do you think this could be it?
