Question
Hi my name is kia and im 26 yrs old and for the past 2 yrs ive expierenced serious stomach gas. Whenever i wake up in the morning i feel the need to throw up but sometimes after i eat (ususally yogurt) breakfast i feel better but other times even after i eat i still feel nauseated and i do throw up. My doctor says this is because of stomach acid comming back up and he prescribed me reglan and pepcid for my stomach and they work well but im wondring is there anything i can do to help my stomach? ive heard a glas of red wine can help with your stomach or eating ginger.is there anything i can take thats natural that can allieveate my stomach woes

Answer
Well the reglan and pepcid sound like they are working for your acid reflux so don't take yourself off of those medications. In terms of natural remedies for acid reflux I am not too familair with them because I am not a doctor or a naturalist, but I have heard that garlic works well to help (you can buy them pickled in jars and just eat some each day...I dont know how many) or peppermint can help nausea as well as ginger. Other than that i am not too familair with what you are asking and if you are looking for natural approaches you may need to do come additional research or even see a naturalist to help with your concerns.

best of luck
