Gastroenterology/Acid reflux

Question
Hello,

I have suffered from terrible 'acid reflux' since 2008. I had an endoscopy which showed nothing was found, and have since been on 10/20 mg omraprazole.  One gp recently said I was not taking enough and to take 20mg consistently.  However this still has not eradicated my symptoms, especially at night and I am fed up and worried as it seems to be going on a long time.  Surely taking these medications for so long is not a good thing and in particular if they are not solving the problem?  I do not smoke, am probably a stone over ideal weight ( have been roughly the same for 20 years ) The endoscopy was done about 4 years ago.  What should I do as I am wanting help to get rid of this horrible condition.  Thank you.

Answer
Dear Lou,

“What should I do as I am wanting help to get rid of this horrible condition?”

I understand that you disappointed and frustrated with your condition (GERD) and treatment.
Your health problems may be related to other situations such as
1.   Low amount of the stomach acid and weakness of the valve between esophagus and stomach
2.   A hiatal hernia
3.   Bile reflux.

It will be unprofessional to give you medical advice without knowing your medical date.
I just may give you useful information.

First is my EBook “Healthy Pancreas, Healthy You”. Do not be discouraged by name, your pancreas also is involved. It is a core for the proper digestion.  Part 1 explain to you why you may have GERD. Part 2 will teach you diet with GERD. http://www.biotherapy-clinic.com/healthy-pancreas-healthy-you.html

Many Europeans with GERD go to Karlovy Vary mineral spa or drink mineral water at home that is made from genuine Karlovy Vary thermal spring salt.

I can give good advice if you fill up the Biotherapy’s Patient Questionnaire and send it to me by email or fax. http://www.biotherapy-clinic.com/biotherapys-patient-questionnaire.html
After that, call to my office for a phone consultation. I help many with this situation all over the globe.

Finally, please relax. Stress causes GERD, as well.

I wish you good health.
