Ok, so I'm a sophomore in college who is still not out and I met this really
cool guy during second semester of freshmen year and it was "love at first
sight." We became cool friends and hung out alot during the semester and a
little over the summer. We joke and I flirt and tease him alot and he smiles
and laughs. I think about him and dream about him all the time and I think he
is the perfect guy for me. But he talks about girls, and when I bring up the
subject of gays he says that he is not gay and that he doesn't think that being
gay is right but I don't buy it, yet anyway. Everytime he sees me his face just
lights up and he makes this huge smile and he looks into my eyes (but I'm
too embarrassed to hold his gaze for long) and he always looks thrilled to see
me. We also like alot of the same music like emo and love songs and he was
really excited when he found out that I liked the same music and he wants to
go to concerts together. And I always catch him looking at me from across
the room and he smiles and I smile back but I'm the one who looks away first
but he doesnt call me or message me online. I have to be the one who starts
the conversation and our conversations have so many awkward pauses. But
this year he will be living across from my room so we will see each other
more often and I do not know what to do. I've talked to many people about
this and they all said that he probably isn't gay and that I should move on but
I don't want to give up yet.

Okay Chris,
Whoever said he definatly isn't gay is wrong - a lot of guys cover up their sexuality and whether they are gay or not because they are wrorried other's will find out. All i can sujjest is that you stay friends and you need to come out of the closet as soon as possible - if he is gay you might start a relationship.
