Experience in the area I'm a bisexual teen myself and have gone through tough situations involving my sexuality. I have been volunteering here for more than a year now and would definitely be of help to you. Homosexuality alone is a topic but it is linked to many different areas too (environment, family, school life, etc). So, I am able to give you a wider scope of the situation.

Yeah, sure, you could come out to her unless she is trusted. Are you out of the closet to your family? If not, you might want to do that first. The reason is some girlfriend or boyfriend would want their partner to come out so that they can have an open relationship. Is she a trustable person?
Alright, does she ever say any girl as beautiful or hot or whatever? Ask your circle of friends whether she often mention your name in conversations.
Or you might want to give her some signs by caring more about her or getting close to her. That way, things might occur naturally on its own.
