Dear Answer Seekers- My name is Aidan, and I am your expert in “GLBT Teens.” Being Gay myself, I know how hard it is to deal with anti-gay slurs at school on a daily basis, how your “best friend” suddenly turns his/her back on you, how your family betrays you and disowns you. I went through all of this when I first came out as being a gay teen. I still remember the harsh comments I took in everyday when I was in the public school system from prejudice, anti-gay students. Some got physical, some made threats, and some even tried to hit me with their car. That’s when I decided to volunteer my time in helping teens overcome their fears, and issues. I can answer questions about family issues, school issues, relationship issues, how to come out to your family, how to tell your friends your gay, how to report prejudice conduct to your school officials, how to deal with religious family members, etc. Let me tell you something, I can’t always answer everyone’s questions but I will give you as much advice as I possibly can.

Question hi my names edward and im really into this boy at work before we first me we always kept looking at each other but when we met when we first started talking we had so many things in common and he liked everything i liked and sometimes i see him look at me but when i look he quickly looks away when were with other people hes so shy im too wecant talk about anthing sometimes when were alone together we cant talk hes always smiling at me on breaks hes always in the place where im normally there if im not he finds me and he stands out side my office sometimes but trying to look like hes busy or doing something he cant look me in the eye straight i alwasy look but 2 seconds later he smiles and looks away but the problem here is that i dont know if he likes me cause sometimes i message him and i use words like ohh hey baby and he doesnt reply the same way over the fone or messaging its like hes cold or on msn im trying to come out to him as a gay like i take fun to far i dont know the limit hes like i understnad im like that we have so much n common but some actions make me think 1 hes shy 2 he cant keep eye contact 3 hes always smiling 4 he comes and always tries to find me on brakes 5 hes says i understand everything that u like soemtimes i kinda play reverse phsicoligy like aww she cool and i banged her u know too see his actions like i cant wait till my girlfriend comes ive missed her so much and do you think thats why hes acting a little cold to me or do you think he likes me or doesnt please someone help me im falling for him but dont know what to do

I know how hard this can be. Don't worry, you'll get through it.
Since, it is totally inappropriate to talk about your personal issues
at the work place (at least in the US). I don't think that is the
Greatest place to "come out" to him. You need to have a chat with him
either on Myspace, MSN, or SMS (text) and ask him if he is gay.
That's all I would do. If he says yes then your in luck, if not then
well your heart will kind be torn. I would not flaunt you being gay to
him just yet and I would stop saying " Hey baby Hey!" to him. If hes
not gay, and if he doesn't like gay guys then your more prone to hate
crimes, even in the work place. As far as I can see it, I think he may
be gay, and I think he does like you. Some guys are scared to even
be "gay." So, give it time and ask him if he's gay. I hope I helped
