QUESTION: HI my name is wes i read one of your questions and your right im a 13yr old boy and im in the eighth grade i know i shouldent label my self a gay or bi yet but the other people ive talked to said i should experiment with girls and guys and see what i like. But i was wondering ive never had a girlfriend or a boyfriend so if im going to experiment i got to have a girlfriend or boyfriend so can you give me a few tips on how to meet girls and tell if a boy is gay cuz at my school i dont know of anybody who is gay so please give me a few tips on how to do those things thanks.
ANSWER: i just meant go out with both guys and girls to see what you like. what kind of tips are you looking for?

QUESTION: Hay again the tips i was thinking about were well i dont need tips on girls but how can i tell if a boy in my grade or school is gay. Because around here there are not allot of gays and people around here dont really accept gays so i want to keep my bi curiosity a secret. If so what can i do to show him interested in him without yet admitting i want to go out with him.
Answer
there is no special way to tell if someone might be bi or gay unless they really act like it. one to go about it is to ask a guy (when your alone with him) if he has ever thought about other guys in a sexual way. i would make sure you are comfortable with this person and they wont freak out by the question. but the idea is to open up the conversation about it. there are guys and girls who do have these sexual thoughts about the same sex but just dont want to admit it. good luck and let me know if i can help more :)
