Great question, and you're in a pretty sticky situation!
The big thing to wonder about here, is how comfortable are you with it? If you are completly up for it than we can continue from there.
Now, some people would look down upon on this, but its something which would ofcourse happen in the privacy of your own home. If you are sure you want to do it, I would say go for it! Im not going to tell you its wrong, because there isnt a solid answer for that. Some people would say it was, others would say it doesnt matter.
Now with telling him. It may be something that will come off awkward. So maybe slowly go into it. When you're masturbating together scoot over to him, maybe say "lets compare sizes". Let him make the move. If you think he is comfortable with it, you could make the move as well. I recommend watching porn together and averting your eyes while you do it. Dont focus on his penis.
Its a really sticky situation, but just go with what feels right!
