Question I have an ex that won’t leave me alone, it seems as if he likes attacking m, between us two it sort of resembles a popularity game and I’ve come to the conclusion of setting up boundaries in the tolerance I have for him, anyway, he came up to me one day and said ‘’hey there’s this guy I want you to meet, you guys have a lot in common, I had to blow him off because he wasn’t for me’’ I was a little afraid at first because I didn’t know what the cause was in the situation, well I met him and surprisingly enough we get along well, we see each other on a ‘’friendly basis’’ but I really like him; we talked a week ago for about 6 hours; later on he went home and e-mailed me saying ‘’I kind of noticed you like me, if it makes you feel better I like you back’’ well after that my ex found out about it through a friend of mine and he got really mad, so then we fought. I wrote this guy back and asked ‘’so do you want to go out, do things, have a relationship etc.’’ he wrote back days later saying ‘’that’s what I was implying, but for right now I need to get everything in my life the way I want it’’ I felt like he threw me off in a way, we still talk everyday but it seems he has already backed out. I’m just wondering if I was the problem, if he’s shy, or if my ex did something.

As for this case, it is quite hard to tell the cause that made him back out. You might need to ask your ex-bf who introduced him to you and later got mad when the two of you met and got 'close'. I don't suggest anything bad about him but it could be because of him but it could also because of something else in the guy's life.
