Question
hey my name is Jordan and 17 and i have been thinking i might be gay or bisexual.i have been thinking this for the last 8 or 9 years.i am so confused because i look at guys sometimes in that way but i look at chicks as well i am so confused please help me

Answer
Jordan

The trick is to not try so hard to label yourself one thing or another. If you've read any of my other posts on this board, you'll see that I really don't care much for those three distinct categories (gay, straight, bi) because they have little to do with the realities of human sexuality, which is far more complex than that.

The fact is, many of us experience some degree of attraction to both sexes, and maybe to a greater or lesser degree over our lifetimes. To make matters even more complex, you can be more physically attracted to one or the other, while at the same time being emotionally more inclined to the opposite.

So my advice for people in your situation is always to just express your feelings in whatever type of relationships feel the most fulfilling for you, without over-thinking the how you define those feelings.

Best wishes,

Tedd
