Question
QUESTION: My whole family has been searching and we can't find anything about my father's father's father (Earl Cunningham). I have been obsessing about finding out exactly who he is and following his line.
I know an approx. birth year (1890), a marriage date (20 Dec 1939 in Burlington KS) to my grandmother (Della Opal Murley born 10 Oct 1912 in Celina TN)20 Dec 1939 in Burlington KS.

Della filed for divorce on 24 Jul 1942 in Phoenix, AZ (Maricopa County).

Earl left before my grandfather (Maxwell Hollis Cunningham born 25 Aug 1941)

Earl had a brother Floyd Cunningham in Gronala, KS
Earl had a cousin Guy Cunningham in Burlington, KS

With so little information... how do I find out who his parents were or anything that will help me follow the line. I feel like I've tried EVERYTHING!!!!

ANSWER: I have been working on your brickwall. Do you know where your grandfather was born. Was it Kansas? Please email me the answer.

QUESTION: I'm pretty sure my Grandfather, Max, was born in Arizona. I have no idea where my Great Grandfather was born. Thank you so much for working on this.

Answer
Ashley,
How do you know your great grandfather was born abt 1890?
Also it is possible that Earl may have been his middle name.
Do you know if he was married before he married your ggrandmother?

Please email me your answer:researchlady@carolina.rr.com because this may take me a couple of days to research.

Anita
