Genealogy - Logan Family history

Expert: Charlotte L. Cowe - 3/9/2009

Question
I have tracked down a Logan family from the present to a birth c1806 in Dunfermline. On his death entry in 1873 his father was shown as Edward. Within the family the father was always known as James
I have used family records, ScotlandsPeople and census records.
Can you possibly help to go back beyond 1806?.  The general areas seem to be Fife, Mid-Lothian and Glasgow. Full details can be supplied.

Answer
Patrick.

I could certainly help you to trace your family further backwards. I would need to have all the information already found to avoid spending time searching for known facts. It would probably be best to contact me through my personal email rather than via this site. I am a professional researcher having undertaken work for other people for over 20 years. My email is charlotte@dmains.co.uk
