General Dating Questions/Does it sound like he's into in me?

I thought it would be a great idea to get an opinion from another man about this situation, so here we go.

I'm 18, he's 26 about to be 27

He's been a friend of the family's since I was about 10, he always hangs out with my dad.

I've always felt like we have really good chemistry. Even my mom has made comments about us being together since I was like 16 years old lol

whenever he comes over, he's always really flirty, like when he walks by, we'll like give each other a dirty look, just for laughs. Its like our thing to do.

I always catch him checking me out, but he isn't really sneaky about it, I feel like he kinda wants me to know he's checking me out. haha

Almost every time I walk into a room or he hears me coming, he always looks up at me.

One night, I was drinking with my family and he was over too, and I know I'm not old enough to be drinking, but I was at home.

Anyhoo, me and him were really close a lot that night, and we were in my garage alone and before he left to go to the bar, he was eating a pickle, and I was standing in the garage with him while he got ready to leave, and i was holding the door open for him and he stopped on his way out and just turned and we stood there and stared at each other, his face was like inches from mine and then he tried to put the rest of his pickle into my mouth but i didn't want it and then we just stared at each other again and I swear he was about to kiss me. But he snapped out of it and left.

The other night, him and my parents were talking about me being his designated driver for when he goes to the bar, and he said "you'll be able to drive my truck. And if anyone tries to hit on you, i'll kick their as$ and tell them you're with me" then he started laughing. My parents weren't in the room when he said this.

Him and my dad were in the living room the other day, and my dad said that me and this guy would make a really cute couple, and that my mom agrees. I wasn't in the room, but i didn't hear him say anything.

I had a guy over one time who I was kind of seeing, and they met each other, and afterwards, this guy would ask me about him. Like if I'm seeing him again, or he would ask what his name was or if he tried to kiss me and what not.

He's just really flirty with me all the time.

Does it sound like he's into me??
Let me know! :)

It does kind of sound like he might be into you, but I think most 27 year olds would avoid girls as young as you for worry that their too young, but if he has been flirty with you than maybe he does have a thing for you. I wish some girl would give me dirty looks. lol. From what you've told me it does sound like he at least finds you attractive physically.

First and foremost if you read ahead you'll find I have a word limit on questions I'll read. This site is for short simple questions and it should not be for writing essays. Please also note I am unfamilar with most cultures outside of United Stated, UK, and France. Please respect my rules. I don't like rejecting questions. I will be the first to admit that I don't know everything about dating, women/men, and interpersonal connections. However I have learned quite a bit vicariously from other people's experiences. Think of my advice as a second opinion. I would be happy to answer all questions related to relationships, dating, self-confidence, and self-image that I can. I have struggled with all of those things and probably know better than most how to deal with all of them.

I hope more than anything that my advice and opinions will help give people perspective in their lives, and hopefully make them feel better about themselves and their situations. I will attempt answering questions for anyone of any age group or nationality. However it would be particularly useful to know the age of all people involved. It does make a difference towards the advice I give. Also not terribly familar with arranged marriages and situations in which the family can dictate the details of the relationship.

My Rules:
1). I can't answer questions that ask if a girl or guy likes the other (very difficult to know remotely)
2). No questions that are More Than 250 Words. I understand that problems can be complex, but there is a real limit to how much I can read and fully understand. Particularly if English isn't the questioner's native language.
3). Only questions from Americans, Canadians, British, and cute French women.
4). No questions that ask the meaning behind if a person sets their FB status to single, coupled, or private or if they still have a dating profile undeleted somewhere. If you're cyber snooping you're likely the issue.

I don't really have any specific experience in this area other than learning from other people's mistakes and a few of my own, and whatever I've learned as a psychology major.
