Subject: HTML Information type elements

Question
I am a beginner in HTML. I cannot understand the use of the information type elements like the Citation element,Code element,Emphasis element,Keyboard element,Sample element,Strong element,Variable element,Comments element etc.
Please help.
Thank you.

Answer
Here is a very simple reference site that you can use to look up virtually any basic html element.  I figure giving you this link will much more helpful than going through each one that you mentioned individually.
