General HTML/Web Design Programming Q`s - search engines

Expert: Richard Seltzer - 8/25/2004

Question
Hi Richard.
I'd like to get a website registered on some of the major search engines for maximum visability. I've never done this before and wonder how one goes about getting listed. What is the fee? Is there a good strategy for max exposure at min cost?

Thanks.
Rich

Answer
regarding submissions, see my article at http://www.samizdat.com/submit.html (a bit out of date, but still useful).
