Can you help me with more background on Hezbollah? And with The real reason behind Charlie Wilson's getting involved with the war?

Con. Charlie Wilson was not involved at all with Hezbollah. He was working to fund Islamic resistance fighters in Afghanistan who were opposing the Soviet invasion and occupation of that country. Many of those fighters went on to form the Taliban later. However, some of them who were foreign fighters, may have gone to Hezbollah at some later time. But Hezbollah's primary fight to oppose the existence of Israel has never been supported by the US.
