Question
I'm interested in knowing what a New England Colonial house looked like in the 1800's.  The picture I have in mind would be of a 2 story house with five window on the top and four on the bottom and the front door perfectly aligned in the center.  Do you know what the back of the house would have looked like?  Any other information you can give me would be most helpful (this is for a third grade social studies project).  Thank you.
