Question
if u r sitting at home using the dail up connection.and the computer is linked with the university whose transmission rate is limited to 56kbps and u r able to make remote login is it LAN OR WAN IF WHY?and if computer is connected to isp at the transmission rate of 10Mbps you r still able to  have remote login which network is this LAN OR WAN?

Answer
First, this is not text messaging. Please do not use text speak!

Second, a LAN is when you connect using Ethernet directly to a switch. A WAN is when you connect to a network through a router. Dialup is a different animal entirely.

Hope this helps
