Question
Dear;

I am using VPN connection to connect my head quarter and we use 10.xx.xx.xx ip. and also in my branch i am using 192.168.x.x network.

The issue is when i connect VPN, by default it disable my internal network. I am unable to access my local file server and other resources.
Could you give me a solution for this issue.

In advance thank you for the support

Answer
Hi Ibrahim,

Many thanks for your question.
This problem could well be a Routing issue,
although at this point I can't say for sure.
Would it be possible to let me see your local
router configuration? The other issue could be
with your O/S Internet Gateway (Windows may I
presume?). I have had similar issues myself
when connecting a wireless LAN to a VPN/Internet.
If you share the VPN connection with your LAN
connection then MS should resolve the routing
between the two connections. Worth checking
to see if you successfully generate a Gateway
(see Network configuration from the start menu).

Best Regards,

Scott McQueen.
