General Networking/Lan/Wan/getting wifi in my workshop

Question
I have a workshop approximately 30yds from my house. I have dsl and I  pick up the wifi but not enough to connect to the internet. How can I remedy this? I have put a wifi extender in my shop but hasn't helped much.

Answer
Don't put the extender in the shop. Put it in the house about midway between the wifi router and the shed. Experiment with how close you can get it to the shed.

You may also consider bumping your router up to one of the new AC routers that have greaster range.

Hope this helps,
