Question
Hiw John,

I want to do a home network with Linux Desktop, Windows XP Laptop and a Wireless router. In this network, i want the Linux Desktop as a Gateway to the internet. I don't want the Laptop directly taking to the internet. Can you assist me on this.

Thanks,
Satish Kolli

Answer
Hi Satish,

I'm sorry my expertise is not with Linux but here are 2 sites that I think you will find very useful with more information, the first explains about using Linux as a gateway:

http://www.marcelgagne.com/

I hope this helps and thank you for writing.

Have a nice evening,
John
