Question
Hi Dawn, not sure if you can help but I will ask anyway. I am scheduled to have 2-level discectomy (artificial replacement) w/titanium plate to secure and add more stability to the area. This has been an ongoing problem since MVA back in 1989 that only progress dispite ALL non-surgical options. My question is have you heard or seen any of these plastic-artificial discs? Any input you can give I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.

Answer
Dear Kelly,

My reference to your question is this...

check out:

I have a personal friend that was a nurse, who in her hurry to get ready for work one morning, flipped her head the wrong way while blow drying it and caused such damage that she needed to have the same surgery as you ...she is fine now and suffers no ill effect.

I hope this helps...
