Question
hi.
im a 36 year old male and have just suffered a t.i.a
is it common in my age range and how serious is it

Answer
I have not examined you or reviewed the medical record, associated laboratory studies, or imaging. What follows is offered to you for information purposes, only and does not constitute treatment.  I advise an examination from a qualified healthcare professional before undertaking any course of treatment.

TIA, transient ischemic attack, is like a mini-stroke that reverses. This condition is rare in your age group. It is very serious and deserves a complete work-up by a neurologist with complete imaging of the brain, and blood vessels leading to the brain.  Sometimes an echocardiogram of the heart is also helpful.
