About John Zalewski
Expertise
I can offer synonyms to use instead of the same, boring words. I can provide definitions, and teach you the proper usage of most (if not all) forms of punctuation. I cannot comment on the history of writing, or the various forms of writing (Calligraphy, etc.). I love to write. I love to teach. So, this is a wonderfully perfect job for me!

Experience
I wrote a 353-page book entitled 'Hell in May.' I also wrote an 883-page book entitled 'Gone.' I am planning on trying to get the latter in print.

General Writing and Grammar Help - DESCRIPTIVE WRITING

Expert: John Zalewski - 9/11/2008

Question
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START OFF WRITING ABOUT A SICKROOM I VISITED. I WORK IN A NURSING HOME. MY TEACHER TOLD ME TO BE DESCRIPTIVE ABOUT MY WRITING. I DID A LITTLE. AND SHE SAID I NEEDED 750-1000 WORDS. I'M LOST ON MY WORDS AND NEED HELP.

Answer
Hello, Tahisha.

Since the main focus of a nursing home is the people who live there, I'd start by introducing those live in the home.

After you introduce a few of them, you could start to talk about what actually occurs at the home: activities, events, meals, doctor visits, etc.

This should give you a start on your paper.

Regards,
John
