Which of the following sentences is / are grammatically correct?

1) The doctor advised him to TAKE more exercise.

2) The doctor advised him to GET more exercise.  

3) The doctor advised him to DO more exercise

*** #2 is correct.

You cannot "take" exercise.  Here is a correct revision of #3:  The doctor advised him to DO more EXERCISING.
