Question
Dear Ted:

Is it "behind-the-scene footage" or "behind-the-scenes footage"?

Again, many, many thanks for your kind help.

Answer
Dear Paolo:

Is it "behind-the-scene footage" or "behind-the-scenes footage"?

EXAMPLE:

Q -- How do you know all this information?
A -- I did some research behind the scenes.
