Which of the following two sentences are correct and natural?

1) The United Kingdom is MADE UP OF four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

2) The United Kingdom is MADE OF four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Dear Paolo:

Which of the following two sentences are correct and natural?

1) The United Kingdom is MADE UP OF four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

2) The United Kingdom is MADE OF four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

*** Both are correct.  The more "natural," as in common usage, is the  first sentence.
