Question
Hi

Hope you are fine.

What does "scrape through an exam" mean?

Thanks

Answer
Hi, Hame,

"Scrape through" or "barely scraping by" or any other similar use means almost not making it to the end or possibly almost failing all together. Could be interpreted, regarding an exam, to mean almost flunking, barely passing.

I hope that helps.  Please rank my answer. Best to you.
