*** The question actually means "When can you see me?"

You ask your doctor, "When can you fit me in?"  [You want to know when you can get an appointment with him.]

Student to teacher:  "When can you fit me in?"  [The student needs time to discuss his essay with his teacher.]

Auto mechanic to customer:  "I can fit you in this afternoon at 3:00 p.m."  [Something is wrong with you car and you need the mechanic to find the problem.]
