Answer
Dear Prashant:

Authors who can write fiction novels, books etc can also write non fictional
English literature or vice versa ?.

*** YES.  They can write various types [genres], and many authors often do so.

All Authors can write both type of stories viz Fiction (not real) and Non
fiction (real) in categories viz thriller, suspense, romance, tragedy,
comedy/humor, horror etc

*** YES

OR

Some Authors can only write Fiction English literature.

YES -- Only British author write English literature.  Some of them choose to write ONLY fiction.

OR

Some Authors can only write Non Fiction English literature.

*** And, yes.  There are and have been many British authors who write or have written ONLY non-fiction.

i.e.

Statistically there will be more numbers with

a. Authors who have/can written both fiction as well as non fiction books.

b. Authors who have/can write only fiction books.

c. Authors who have/can write only non fiction novels.

i.e. a OR b OR c

*** Prashant, I believe the correct answer is A.

Examples : William Shakespeare, Alfred Hitchcock, Enid Blyton‎, Jonathan
Swift, Jane Austen, Agatha Cristie etc.

*** The reason I chose A is because there are so many authors who have the ability and who choose to write in different styles.  Shakespeare wrote 38 plays, but he also wrote more than 100 poems [sonnets].  Most critics do NOT think of poetry as "fiction."  Jonathan Swift wrote one famous novel, "Gulliver's Travels," but he wrote MANY essays.  He wrote essays filled with "irony."  Some of his essays got him into trouble, because of the topics and the manner in which he wrote them.  Essays are NON-FICTION.

*** Generally speaking most writers feel more comfortable writing EITHER fiction or non-fiction.  However, just because an author achieves some success as a writer of novels does not mean that he cannot and does not write essays, poetry, or other non-fiction works.

The American writer, William Faulkner, won the Nobel Prize in Literature for his "complete body of work."  Faulkner was known for his novels and short stories, and both of these genres are fiction.  However, he also wrote poetry, and, when he needed extra money to buy whiskey, he went to Hollywood and wrote screen plays for movies.  Finally, he wrote non-fiction essays and speeches, when he was an "artist in residence" at the University of Virginia in the U. S. and the University of Nagano in Japan.

I hope my answer has been inclusive.  There are so many other "author examples" that I could have chosen -- enough to write a lengthy essay of my own!
