General Writing and Grammar Help/meet,..,

How are you?
which one is correct? And if all are correct, then what is the difference among them?

Yesterday, I ...... my fiance.
A. saw
B. Met
C. Visited

Thank you

Saw indicates perhaps a meeting, like in a crowd. It could have been from afar. No words might have been exchanged. It was strickly a chance meeting.

Met connotes a meeting that is prearranged or set up. There is a purpose (coffee, dinner, talk etc.) It did not happen by chance like saw.

Visited is closer to met in that it is preset and one party went to see the other at a prearranged location (home, apartment, hospital, place of work etc.)

All are correct depending on the circumstances.
