*** Use this sentence if you are referring to a message you have JUST received.  Although the
message was sent in the PAST, your reference suggests that you just NOW read it.

2) In reply to my message titled/called/entitled "XYZ," you GAVE the following example:

*** Use this sentence if you are referring to a message you received in the PAST.
