Question
Dear Ted:

Do you ever use "okay?" at the end of a conversation?

If so, when is it used?

Would you please give me some examples?

Thank you,

Paolo

Answer
Dear Paolo:

Do you ever use "okay?" at the end of a conversation?

If so, when is it used?

*** It is only used in very casual conversations.  I do not recommend it for written comments.

EXAMPLES:

A:  I'll meet you later.
B:  Okay.

A:  If it's all right with you, I am going to the library now.
B.  Okay.

*** Paolo, many times the abbreviated form is used:  "OK."
