Answer
Dear Paolo:

Consider the following headline:

Is Super Tuesday Donald Trump's for the taking?

My question are these:

1) What does "for the taking" mean?

*** The phrase means that he will easily win the primary elections on that day.  If something is "yours for the taking," you have little or no opposition.

2) And, above all, what does the 's stand for?

*** The apostrophe and "s" indicate that the taking belongs to or is owned by Donald Trump.  The expression is basically a British one.
