General Writing and Grammar Help/RE: Pay off, pay back, repay

Dear Ted:

You wrote the following:

I play to repay my debt to John next week.

My question is this:

Did you mean to write, "I INTEND to repay my debt to John next week"?

Thank you,

P.S. Ted, is everything okay with your right eye?

Dear Paolo:

I meant to write "I PLAN to repay my debt . . . . "

My right eye is bad.  My next injection is in two days.  I will be leaving
Allexperts soon.  I have always prided myself on NOT making simple errors, like
typos.  I guess I am "over the hill."  [That's an idiom meaning that I am well
past my prime.]
