Thank you for writing. I do not think that I have heard from you before.

Hi, can you please explain to me about when to use arrive or arrives?

Example:
"She'll see you when she leaves"
"We'll give it to her when she arrives"

*** In English, an "s" is added to verb that are used with certain nouns and pronouns.

Here is the standard list for the present tense form of "to arrive" --

I arrive
you arrive
he, she, or it arrives
we arrive
you arrive
they arrive

ONLY the third person singular [he - she - it] require the "s."

Here's another example, using the verb "to make" --

I make
you make
he, she, or it MAKES
we make
you make
they make

I MAKE a good living, and he MAKES a good living.

*** Eizzah, if you have more questions, please send them to me.  Also, there is an evaluation form attached to my answer.  Please complete it and please consider nominating me as "volunteer of the month."

Thank you.
