Question
Dear Ted:

Is the following sentence correct?

He suggested the Toyota Prius to me.

If so, would you please give me some other examples of "subject + suggest + object + to me/you/him/etc."?

Thank you,

Paolo

*** I do not like the sentence, but it is grammatically correct.  It's just NOT the way I write or talk.

OTHER EXAMPLES:

I asked my teacher for additional reading material, and he suggested Shakespeare's sonnets to me.

[See, Paolo, you do not need "to me."  If someone gives you a suggestion, he is giving it
to you.]

Jennifer was doing quite well in playing the piano.  Her teacher suggested more difficult
compositions to her.
