General Writing and Grammar Help/question

What is the role of eye contact between students and teacher? Is eye contact important?

Not only between teacher and student, eye contact forms the vital component of personality in all interactions.

By eye contact we mean, the speaker will focus on an the imaginary area of inverted triangle formed by the mid points of the two eyebrows and the middle of the upper lip. Do not focus at any specific point, it is the AREA which should be focused upon.

The gaze should be maintained for about 4 to 6 seconds, with a momentary gap of 1 - 2 seconds (look elsewhere but make it natural).
