General Writing and Grammar Help/using the correct salutation

Question
I am sending a letter to a list of email recipients. It is going to the office manager and staff.

What is the correct salutation to use when addressing a letter to a list of people?

Answer
Dear Gayle,

Thank you for writing.

When you are composing a memo (e-mail) to office managers and staff, you can use "Good Morning," "Good Afternoon," (depending on the time of day!) or simply "To All:"

It really just depends on the nature of the e-mail; if it's very casual, or if your company is casual, you can tailor it that way, and vice-versa.

I hope this helps --

All Best,
Catherine Van Herrin
