Not sure whether you can help, I am due to give birth in 9 weeks and was wondering whether you could tell me what colour hair my baby is likely to have and the chances of my baby having ginger hair from my husbands Grandparent, on my side there is
me with dark brown hair and brown eyes,
my mum has dark hair and blue eyes,
my mums mum has (grandparent) fair hair and blue eyes
my mums dad had dark Hair (grandparent)
my dad is dark skinned, dark hair and brown eyes
My Dads mum had dark hair (grandparent)
My Dads dad had Dark Hair, dark skinned (grandparent)

Answer Highly unlikely. thank you for a decent amount of information to work with! It really helps.
The gene for red hair is recessive and you have a lot of brown haired (dominant) genes floating about in your family gene pool! I would say less than 1% chance and thats conservative.
